The first local rehearsal for the 2,000-voice choir will be this Sunday and the following 2 Sundays at 1:30 at the Washington Times, in the third floor Sunday Service room. We have six songs to learn, including three that we sang before. Please do your best to attend rehearsal. It’s easiest to learn the songs with others. In an effort to tap into the wisdom and coalesce the unique and rich experiences of the world’s First Ladies, UPF Asia Pacific will convene a First Ladies Summit in Palau, the beautiful island country in the western Pacific Ocean. First Ladies have traditionally held the unique position as mother figure of their country, as role model for women and girls, and champion of specific causes such as health care, historic preservation, education and drug abuse. In fulfillment of one of UPF's key missions to build a global network of peace-builders, especially in the area of marriage and family as the cornerstone of society, the First Ladies will discuss ways to reconcile our families based on core values and universal principles.
